I led and creatively directed a limited cel-animation to support the dreamtime story of the Ord River Barramundi, told by the Miriwoong and Gija people for a documentary directed and produced by Nathan Dyer. The animation was composited over live-action footage.

I developed storyboard panels and created an animatic to support a 2 minute video, but due to budget and deadline restraints, this was reduced to a 20 second animation.

The video above is the final animation delivery without sound.

Conceptual styles and representations were approved by the Miriwoong and Gija people.
